Who we are

Verolab builds browser extensions that help you manage your digital presence. Our current extensions are FB Cleaner, YT Cleaner, and LI Cleaner. Verolab can be reached at hello@verolab.io.

Data we do not collect

Our extensions do not collect or transmit:

• Personal information (name, email, address, age)
• Authentication credentials or passwords
• Financial or payment information
• Browsing history or web activity
• Location data
• Any content from the sites the extensions operate on

What is stored locally

Each extension saves a small amount of data to your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) solely to remember your preferences between sessions:

• Your last-used cleaning mode (e.g. Posts, Photos)
• Your stop-after count setting
• Whether a cleaning job was in progress (to restore the UI on popup reopen)
• FB Cleaner only: your Facebook profile identifier (username or numeric ID), used solely to construct navigation URLs within the extension popup

This data never leaves your device and is never sent to Verolab or any third party.

Permissions used

Our extensions request the minimum permissions needed to function:

• activeTab — to read the current tab's page structure and locate your content
• scripting — to run automation on the active tab to perform deletion actions
• storage — to save your preferences locally in the browser
• tabs — to read the active tab's URL and communicate with the content script
• Host permissions (facebook.com / youtube.com / linkedin.com) — to restrict the extension to operating only on the intended site

No permission is used for any purpose beyond what is described above.

Third-party services

Our extensions do not load any external scripts, communicate with any remote servers, or integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's privacy

Our extensions are not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note the change on verolab.io.
